(International Source-Book Intercultural Music Education in Secondary Schools)

The project intends to create an inventory of existing course and background material for the secondary school in the field of intercultural music education focusing on non-western music; the inventory will take the form of a so-called book of intercultural resources. The inventory will be focusing on four countries initially: The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and the United Kingdom. The project will result in an English international sourcebook focusing on intercultural music education. The inventory produced will be made available to music teachers to enable them to find the necessary pedagogic materials to introduce an intercultural dimension in their music education.
